Lung cancer is the UK's biggest cancer killer. It has taken 12 months of horrific lows but also surprising highs to get to the stage where Amber, a lifelong non-smoker, now wants to speak out to bust some myths surrounding the disease and help others.Īmber - who tells me she's part of the 19 per cent of people with stage 4 lung cancer who survive the first year - said: "I hope that by sharing my story I will encourage people to shout louder if they feel something is wrong, to smash through the misconceptions surrounding lung cancer and to prove that you can live a meaningful happy life after a stage 4 diagnosis and that anyone can get it.
